	Mokume gane is a Japanese mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns of different metals and alloys, including yellow gold, red gold, silver and copper. Its literal translation is "wood eye metal" or wood grain metal. No two patterns are alike, just like no two couples are alike. A pair of wedding bands made from the same design will be the only two in the world that have its unique pattern.
